Who can join GSCA?

From minis to drafts, from carts to coaches, if you are interested in driving or riding equines, consider joining GSCA! We welcome all with an interest in carriage driving, even those who only want to come along for a "buggy" ride. GSCA also welcomes horseback riders as members, and riders are welcome at all day and and horse-camping venues. You must be a member of GSCA to drive or ride a horse in our outings; members may bring guests.

GSCA members include people with all levels of driving experience, ranging from those just learning, to some who have been driving on all kinds of terrain or in competitions for years. Others compete under saddle in everything from rated and breed shows to competitive trail rides, and drive primarily for their own pleasure. Many just ride and drive for the fun of it and do not compete at all. The Club has chosen to schedule primarily recreational driving outings.

GSCA Member benefits:

  • Recreational fun with horses at unique venues
  • Open to beginner through advanced drivers
  • Welcoming horseback riders at all outings
  • Open to all types of equines-- minis, drafts mules...
  • Club socials/dinner functions twice yearly or more
  • Members from all over New England-- NH, MA, VT, ME, CT, NY, RI and further!
  • GSCA Directory of Club members
  • GSCA eNews and Newsletter
